St. Margarets Bay - by Linden Ivey

Come now, walk out the door… down this storied road
Said it's just a life I lead, a life I know.
Do I need change my friend, for ghosts walks slow
he says open your mind… to the voices in the fog, the whispers the lies
But do I need change my friend as I walk down the line…
Sometimes death steals life when love is the crime…
I'll call it a home….. home for today
Sometimes I'm alone… and lost my way…… on St Margaret's Bay…
He said you've lost your way… you need to listen to the spirits and the voices of change…
Then you write a poetic song in a poetic place…
Cause sometimes death comes fast like tides take faith…
He said his goodbyes to me then walked away…
Into the fog he fades, the ghost of the bay
